Windows 10 Tutorial: Download Insider Preview Build
UPDATED 11/18/21: As part of Windows 10 development, Microsoft offers the Windows Insider Program, a testing program that gives developers, businesses, and enthusiasts access to early builds of the operating system to test new features and changes and validate software and drivers before deployment. In this guide, you can track the history of each Windows 10 Insider Preview build for PC, including information on release date, changelog summary, build number, and more.
The program includes three levels of readiness (also known as channels). The Dev Channel (formerly Fast Ring) is intended for very technical users, as the builds are still rough and contain code that is still in development. Typically, these builds are not stable, you will encounter bugs and issues, and you may need to use workarounds to fix problems that may affect your experience.
Additionally, previews in this channel are not associated with a specific version of Windows 10. This means that changes will be incorporated into future releases when they become available, and not necessarily in the next feature update. Additionally, some improvements, when available, might be available as a build update or servicing release.
