Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5026361) | Patch Tuesday 2023

Microsoft is introducing a new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1607 as part of Patch Tuesday August 2016. The update is described as KB3176495 and contains "quality improvements" and various security fixes.

KB3176495 also bumps the operating system to build 14393.51, but since development of the Anniversary Update is now complete, no new features are introduced in this update. And unfortunately, there is no indication that the update fixes the issue of Cortana disappearing from the taskbar or the system freezing after upgrading to the Anniversary Update.

Along with this new update, Microsoft has also released cumulative update KB3176493 for Windows 10 version 1511 and KB3176931 for PCs and mobile devices participating in the Windows Insider Preview program.
