Find your Windows product key
Enchanted Keyfinder is a free and open source utility that allows you to retrieve product keys (or serial numbers). This utility does not require installation. Enchanted Keyfinder works with Windows 9x, ME, NT/2000/XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, as well as other software such as Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010. In addition, if you are having problems with the operating system and it does not boot, you can try Enchanted Keyfinder Linux Live CD.
Please note that the product key change feature applies to Windows XP.
Another very handy thing is the ability to save all the product keys in a text file. To do this, go to the "File" menu and select "Save As". I don't know about you, but I would find it frustrating if I used this utility, wrote down the product keys, formatted the hard drive, and when I reinstalled, when I entered the Windows product key, I realized that I was entering the wrong key because I didn't write it correctly.
