Microsoft is announcing this week that free games will be available in June with the Xbox One Gold program. The program, which offers free games to Xbox 360 owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership, began a year ago, but now the company is expanding the program to Xbox One owners as well.

4 FREE Xbox Games with Gold | June 2019
The announcement was made on Xbox Wire, which also mentions that Microsoft will launch the free games for Xbox One in June with two titles: “Halo: Spartan Assault” and “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.”

Best of all, customers who are proud owners of an Xbox 360 or Xbox One will receive four games each month (two for each console). To celebrate the first year of the Games for Gold program, Microsoft is also announcing that it will offer three Xbox 360 games for download in June, including: Dark Souls, Charlie Murder, and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.
