How do I enable the preview pane in Gmail?
Similar to tables in Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail or Gmail, you can now split the view of your emails vertically or horizontally when using Gmail in a web browser. On the left side of the screen, you will see a list of all your emails and a small indication of the initial text of the main message content, and on the right side, you will see the content of a specific email.
Once the feature is enabled and you return to the inbox, you will notice a new toggle button in the upper right corner of your message list that allows you to switch between preview and list view.
