How many times has it happened to you that you were reading a great article on your favorite website and came across a word you didn't understand? I can only speak for myself and know that this has happened to me more than once. I usually select the word and copy it, then go to Google or Bing, type in "define: the_word", get my result, read the definition, and then go back to my article.

Google Chrome Extension: Google Dictionary. Easily view definitions while browsing the web.
I find there are too many steps and you lose concentration while reading. To avoid this, I found a really handy extension for Google Chrome called Google Dictionary. With this extension, you can just double-click on the word and see its definition in a little pop-up bubble without having to leave the page. There is also a speaker icon (only when available) that you can click to hear the pronunciation of the word. In addition, the dictionary in the toolbar allows you to read the full definition of any word or phrase.
