Change the display size on your Android

Starting with Android 7.0 Nougat, you can make elements on the screen smaller or larger using the Display size setting.

Because there are so many Android devices with different screen resolutions and pixel densities, it is up to manufacturers to set the appropriate density settings (ro.sf.lcd_density) to allow the operating system and apps to scale properly and display the same amount of content on a small screen as well as a larger one.

On Android Nougat, in addition to the ability to change the font size, users can also get a new “Display Size” setting that allows them to quickly change the scale of all elements on the screen without any hacks or workarounds.
