Fast forward to the recently leaked version of Windows 8.1, SkyDrive shows some changes in Build 9471. Users can go to This PC, right-click on SkyDrive, go to Properties, and on the Locations tab, they can now change the location of the SkyDrive root folder. This can be a different folder, drive, or a network folder.
