Windows 10 Build 9901: Cortana, new apps, updated taskbar, settings and more

In the leaked version of Windows 10 (Build 9901), you no longer have to force the search box to appear on the taskbar, which is also part of the Cortana integration. The default text is "Search the web and Windows" and while there's nothing wrong with the wording, you can change the default text in the search box with a registry tweak.

This tweak will definitely make you more productive, but it's just a matter of knowing that you can do it and have a more unique desktop. Follow the steps below to make it all work.

Open the Start menu, search for regedit, press Enter and start the registry as administrator.
