Windows 8 – How to create a picture password
In short, Windows 8's new picture password feature allows users to select any picture, draw circles and lines on it, and create a password from the gestures. Then, the next time the user needs to log into Windows, they will be prompted to repeat the gestures on the picture instead of having to enter a password. This new login method in Windows 8 works on both touch-enabled devices and desktop PCs, but by default, the feature is disabled. Follow the steps below to create a picture password:
1. Press +I to open the menu and click Change PC settings.
2. In PC settings, navigate to “Users” and click “Create picture password”.
