This could be annoying for many users, so here's how to disable Google's new personal search results (or "Search and the World"). However, as the headline says, this is "kind of…" because Google is really pushing its social network and there doesn't seem to be a way to opt out completely.

When will you see the new personal results? If you're signed in to your Google Account and use Google+ or Picasa online, you'll most likely see personal results at the top of the page, on the side, and in search lists with a blue person icon.
