Windows 11 Build 25211: NEW Task Manager option in the taskbar and more
In Windows 11, it is possible to disable mouse hover to show cards (or jump lists) for inactive apps. In this guide, I will explain the steps to complete this configuration.
Starting with build 22635.3930, Windows 11 now has not only the ability to display thumbnails for active apps, but also a new mouseover behavior that opens the jump list for inactive apps in the taskbar. However, as I've expressed my concerns to Microsoft, this isn't for everyone, as while it's convenient, it can quickly become annoying as it's pretty easy to accidentally hover over inactive apps and have the taskbar open the menu when it's not intended.
If you don’t like this feature, you can disable it as the company is adding an option in the taskbar settings for Windows 11.
