How to disable the lock screen in Windows 10 Anniversary Update
After installing Windows 10 on your computer, the first thing you will notice is the new default Windows logo wallpaper made of light on the login screen. Although it is a great image design, after some time of using the new operating system, you may want to change this image or remove it completely.
As Microsoft is now moving to the "Windows as a Service" update model, many features are not yet complete or are not currently working, but will be updated in due course. This is the example with the default background in the login screen, which you cannot change or remove.
Until now, we had to resort to a workaround to disable the background registry modification, but that is not the right solution. In Windows 10 build 10547 and above, the software giant is making some changes. While the company does not yet provide a way to change the default Windows 10 wallpaper, it does provide us with the option to disable the wallpaper on the login screen.
