How to enable HDR for apps with ICC profiles in Windows 11/10
When High Dynamic Range (HDR) is enabled on Windows 11, some apps that use International Color Consortium (ICC) profiles (such as Photoshop, CorelDraw, and similar apps) do not display colors accurately because they are limited to the sRGB color space. However, the system has a feature that allows these apps to access the full color space of HDR-capable displays to display colors more accurately.
The feature is called “Use old display’s ICC color management” and can be enabled in any app that can take advantage of High Dynamic Range technology.
This guide will show you how to enable or disable HDR support for color-managed applications in Windows 11.
