A while ago, we learned that Microsoft will be removing Libraries from File Explorer in Windows 8.1. The reason for the change is that Microsoft is adding the main library folders (e.g. Videos, Music, Pictures, Downloads, Desktop, and Documents) to Computer (which has now also been renamed This PC). The fact that Libraries are displayed in the left pane might be confusing for some people.

How to enable libraries in Windows Explorer (This PC) in Windows 8.1
While this isn't a significant change that will cause many problems, some will miss access to their libraries. So what you need to know is, first, that Microsoft hasn't removed the feature completely, and second, that it's now just an optional feature that you can simply enable. Follow the steps below to re-enable Libraries in File Explorer.
1. Simply open This PC, navigate to the View tab and click Options.
2. In the navigation pane, select Show Libraries, click Apply and OK. That's basically all you need to do.
