Windows 11: Enable End Task in the taskbar to close unresponsive apps
In Windows 11 Build 25300, you can enable an early preview of the End Task feature available from the taskbar. This guide will show you how.
Previously, if an app wasn't responding, you had to open Task Manager, find the app, and then end the processes. Starting with build 25300, Windows 11 adds a new option in the taskbar jump list (via @PhantomOfEarth) that lets you quickly right-click on an app that's not working properly and select the "End Task" option to kill it and simplify the process.
This is a hidden feature that you have to enable manually. Since it is still a work in progress, the option is not working yet. If you want to try out the new feature, you can use a third-party tool called “ViveTool” created by Rafael Rivera and Lucas on GitHub to enable the option on your computer.
