For example, if you are using Windows 8 or Windows RT and cannot find the update in the Store, you probably need to install a Windows update called KB287189. You can try to install the missing update via Windows Update, or you can visit this Microsoft web page to download the update that will prepare your system to successfully install Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1.
