How to remove Bing search box from new tab in IE11

In a recent update to Windows released by Microsoft, Internet Explorer 11 users noticed a tiny new addition: the Bing search box in new tabs. But like Google Chrome's New Tab, it doesn't do much, it just "teaches" you to use the address bar to search.
