Fix Wi-Fi connection issue on Microsoft Surface 3

I know software updates are important to improve your computing experience and fix security holes, but the latest Patch Tuesday that Microsoft released on August 12, which also included the August update (Update 2), is doing more harm than good to Surface Pro 3. Since updating Surface Pro 3 to the latest August firmware update, I've been having a lot of Wi-Fi issues.

For example, almost every time I wake up the tablet I see that it is not connected to my wireless network. When I log in, sometimes I am lucky and it automatically reconnects. Sometimes I have to restart Windows to reconnect.

But today I see something completely new: After waking up my Surface, I notice that the Wi-Fi adapter has disabled itself. I go to the Control Panel and navigate to "Network Connections" to re-enable the adapter, but it didn't work.
