For this example, I have a file on the desktop called “history-file.txt” that contains really important information, and now for some reason the file has been deleted. What better time to test the file history, right?
Now the sample file has been deleted from the desktop and the recycle bin and I have also created a new file called "no-important.txt" so that the desktop now contains the following files and folders.
