Windows Developer Preview: IE 10 Platform Preview 3
The Internet Explorer team has reached another milestone with the release of IE10 Platform Preview 3 – the first touch browsing experience – included in the ISO image release of the Windows 8 Developer Preview. Developers can now work more with HTML5 to create touch and interactive web apps.
The latest version of Windows 8 features an HTML5 engine that is responsible for two browsing experiences: Internet Explorer 10 on the desktop and the new Metro Style browser (i.e. the Start screen).
In this new version of Internet Explorer, you will see many improvements and changes, especially in the area of touch and Metro Style. Now when you open the browser, you will get a full-screen view of your websites from edge to edge. The tab at the top of the screen has also been redesigned and optimized for touch, and the command bar with the navigation buttons has also been redesigned and moved to the bottom of the screen.
