Internet Explorer 11 works on Windows 11
Previous leaks even showed that the NT kernel was bumped up to version 6.3, suggesting that this is a major update. Now Blue seems to be taking shape, as a new screenshot from Win8china for Windows Blue Build 9319 shows that Internet Explorer 11 will be part of the upcoming major Windows 8 update, revealing a little more about what to expect in Microsoft's new annual update.
Although the new image clearly shows that Microsoft will indeed integrate IE11 into Blue, there are currently no noticeable changes to the user interface.
At this point, there isn't much more data on IE11 other than the screenshot. However, according to Win8china, a Windows Blue preview version will likely be released that everyone can try out for a few months as a "Milestone Preview" rather than Milestone 2 (M2). It's also possible that Microsoft will introduce Blue on new smaller devices (7-8") later this summer.
