Windows 10 Build 10130: Start menu, new icons, Cortana, features + UI changes
We know that when Microsoft releases the ISO files for a specific build of Windows 10, it means that the build will also be available through the Slow Ring. However, today, that is not the case. The software maker announced on June 5 that it is making a "special exception" and releasing the ISO files for Windows 10 Build 10130, even though the preview is not yet available for the Slow Ring.
Microsoft explains that there are currently many Windows Insiders in the Fast ring who are prevented from getting the latest version due to error 0x80146017. For this reason, users can now download the ISO files that will allow them to create an installation media to upgrade to the latest version.
The company also notes that it is still actively working on fixing some bugs before Build 10130 is adopted into the Slow Ring, but does not provide a specific release date.
