NEW: How to Fix Internet Explorer Not Opening After Windows Update (October 2023) – IE Fix 100% Working
It's no secret that Microsoft is developing a new web browser to differentiate itself from Internet Explorer, but now the software giant has confirmed that it will use a different name for the IE successor, currently known as Project Spartan.
This week, Microsoft's chief marketing officer Chris Capossela said during Microsoft Convergence that the company is working on a new name and brand. He said that Internet Explorer will still be included in Windows 10, but only for compatibility reasons, and that there is now Project Spartan, but that is just the code name. Chris went on to say, "We are currently investigating what the new brand or name for our browser in Windows 10 should be."
Microsoft is aiming for Project Spartan to be the primary web browser for Windows 10 users to access the internet. Over the years, the company has invested relentlessly in marketing campaigns to iron out Internet Explorer's negative image, but none of them have worked.
