Microsoft adds more Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list In November, Microsoft released its first major update for Xbox One, bringing Windows 10 to the gaming console. The new version of the operating system not only brings a new user interface, but also includes a new feature that allows users to play their favorite Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.
However, in the past, the company has stated that not every Xbox 360 game will be playable through the Xbox One's backwards compatibility feature. Instead, during the rollout of the major update, Microsoft announced the first 104 games compatible with the Xbox One and said that more games will be added periodically.
Today, the company is making good on its promise, announcing that 16 more Xbox 360 games have been added to the backwards compatibility list, bringing the total number of games users can now play through the new feature to 120.
