Previously, Microsoft announced that the free upgrade offer to Windows 10 will expire on July 29. From that point on, users will have to pay $119 for the full version of Windows 10 Home.

Now, the company is clarifying that the offer is not ending for everyone. In a new article on the Microsoft Accessibility Blog, Daniel Hubbell published a statement saying that Windows 10 will continue to be free for users who use assistive technologies on their computers.

"As you may have heard, the free upgrade offer to Windows 10 for customers running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 ends on July 29. However, we want to clarify that this deadline *does not* apply to customers using assistive technology. We continue to execute on our previously shared vision for Windows 10 accessibility and are committed to ensuring that assistive technology users have the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 10 for free."
