Windows 10 Build 14291 for PC: Practical test with extensions for Edge, Feedback Hub, Maps, Settings

Extensions for Microsoft Edge are now available to test in the latest preview of Windows 10 for PC. After months of waiting, the software giant is finally offering extension support for the Edge browser starting with Windows 10 Build 14291, which is being made available to Insiders via the Fast Ring of Update.

Initially, the company is making only three extensions available for testing, including Microsoft Translator, a Reddit extension, and Mouse Gestures. While extensions will eventually be available in the Store, for now Insiders will have to download and install each extension manually.

For those who don't know them, extensions are small programs that allow you to personalize the web browser and add new features to it, similar to what Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have long offered.
