Windows 10 Build 17063: Timeline, Edge, Fluent Design, Settings, much more
In Windows 10, Timeline is simply a feature that lets you return to activities you were working on in the past. During a Mixer webcast (video removed), Microsoft fully demoed the feature and explained how it works.
The company explains that Timeline is simply an extension of Task View that tracks and organizes your device's activity using links. However, these links are deep links to specific content within an app, allowing you to quickly return to a task you've worked on in the past.
Additionally, the timeline groups your activities in chronological order by day and displays two rows of your most important activities. Of course, you can always expand the group to see your entire history for a specific day, organized hourly.
