How to fix Microsoft Store app issues on Windows 10
Microsoft releases fix for Store in Windows 10. Recently, numerous users reported that an issue in the Store prevented them from updating existing apps and downloading new ones. However, today the problem seems to be fixed.
When the company first acknowledged the issue, it said it would expect a fix for the Store through Windows Update within 48 hours. However, the update never arrived. Instead, the fix appears to have been made on Microsoft's server side.
The problem started on August 8, when users reported that they were unable to access the Store and some of the apps built into Windows 10, including Mail and Calendar. Users could see the updates and pending downloads, but the Store was unable to download any of them. In addition, some users also received a "The Store has stumbled" message.
