How to Change Windows 8 Lock Screen Picture – Pureinfotech Tutorial
In a new post on the Building Windows 8 blog, the software demonstrates a new method that reduces login time from an average of 17 seconds when typing a password on a keyboard with picture passwords to just a few seconds, allowing users to quickly and smoothly log into Windows 8 on tablets, other touch devices and also on PCs by drawing three different patterns over a picture.
How secure is the password for pictures in Windows 8: This new method consists of two parts. First, you can select the picture from your collection – this increases the security and memorability of the password – and second, you can draw a series of gestures on it that you determine yourself.
"At its core, the Picture Password feature is designed to highlight the parts of an image that are important to you, and requires a series of gestures that allow you to do this quickly and securely," said Microsoft employee Zach.
