Windows 11 (NEW feature): Access Android phone files wirelessly via File Explorer
Microsoft is announcing a new app called "Your Phone" for Windows 10 that offers a deeper connection of your phone to your PC. The app will be available for iPhone and Android phones and, according to the company, will be a window into your phone that lets you access texts, photos and notifications from your Windows 10 PC.
While the features vary slightly depending on whether you have an iOS or Android device, you can receive and send text messages, check all your notifications, and drag and drop things like photos from your phone to your computer without having to reach for your mobile device.
The company plans to provide a preview of Your Phone to Windows Insider program participants in the coming days so testers can submit feedback and see if the new Continuity feature becomes part of Windows 10.
