The BitLocker recovery key issue for Surface 2 occurs when you resume or restart the device, which prompts you to enter your BitLocker recovery key before booting into Windows 8.

The update applies to Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, and Surface 2. Note that you cannot install this update on Surface RT.
