It appears that Windows Insiders will be able to upgrade to the final version of Windows 10 for free and the operating system will remain activated. In a new article on the official Windows blog, Microsoft's Gabriel Aul revealed a number of details about the future of the Windows Insider program after its July 29 release.
In the article, the software giant talks about how the Windows 10 upgrade process will work for testers, which the company says will be a simple update via the Windows Update service.
Additionally, Microsoft talked about how the activation process works and what Insiders need to do to keep Windows 10 activated after the final version is released.
