Windows 11 24H2 NEW: AI Recall, Copilot app and features (Build 26100.712 & 26100.863)
Panos Panay, Microsoft's EVP and Chief Product Officer, announced at the AMD CES 2023 keynote that the company is investing in delivering more AI capabilities to Windows 11 (and later versions).
In the keynote (via AMD and Neowin), the processor company talked about the AI engine in the Ryzen 7040 series of processors, and Panos also took the opportunity to mention how these new silicon architectures will help Windows integrate more AI features.
During the keynote, Panos said, "AI is the defining technology of our time. I've never seen anything like it before. It's changing entire industries, improving our daily lives in many ways – some of it you see, some of it you don't – and we're at an inflection point right now. This is where computing from the cloud to the edge is becoming increasingly intelligent and personal, and all of this is being achieved by harnessing the power of AI. […]" He continued, saying, "Now AMD is also at the forefront of AI technology, with the Ryzen 7040 series and Windows 11. This is our next step on this journey together."
