Binary Code Inside Microsoft's Joe Belfiore explains why the company skipped Windows 9 and went straight to Windows 10 We finally have the answer! Last week, at Microsoft's Build conference in San Francisco, many Microsoft employees, including Joe Belfiore, wore a blue shirt with the Windows logo made out of binary code.

Kevin Gosse, Windows developer, couldn't resist and took a screenshot of the Belfiore during the keynote and analyzed it to find the secret message.

The blue T-shirt featured four messages, one for each square that makes up the Windows 10 logo. They read as follows:
