Windows 11 Build 26058: NEW pointer indicator, widget redesign, File Explorer menu labels, more
Previously, a leaked image of Build 9879 showed that Microsoft is adding two new options to the taskbar menu to remove (or hide) the Search and Task View (virtual desktop) buttons. But also from the same build, there are some other screenshots that reveal several new changes:
We already know that there's a new section in File Explorer called Home, which stores your frequently used folders and open files. In the 9879 preview, Microsoft is adding the ability to pin locations to Home to make folders and files easier to access.
The navigation pane also sees improvements. In the leaked preview screenshots, we now see that users can access drives (e.g. hard drive, DVD, or USB) from the left-pane navigation without having to expand This PC, as they appear in their own menu item.
