Unresolved inconsistencies in Windows 11 UI design in 2024
Microsoft is now gradually rolling out the redesigned design experience for OneDrive on the web. It makes it easier to navigate and organize files and folders and offers more options to improve customization. The new experience is similar to the existing consumer interface, but with some additional changes.
It's important to note that the company announced the new version of OneDrive for Microsoft 365 members in October 2023, but the new design is now rolling out to everyone.
On the new Home page, the For You section uses AI to recommend and prioritize timely and relevant files. A new context-based organization in the left navigation also lets you browse files using views, including Recent, Favorites, Shared, People, and Meetings.
