How to fix Windows 7 endless reboot
Apparently the operating system cannot validate the fix after installing the update and causes an endless reboot loop on PCs and servers, according to the Microsoft support forums:
"I'm having problems with update KB3033929 from the latest release of Tuesday Patches. After installing, the PC restarts, but during the patch startup configuration, it fails and Windows starts resetting the configuration and restarts. And then it all starts over a few more times until it finally boots into Windows."
As a possible temporary solution, one of the users on the forum recommended setting Windows as the default bootloader in the BIOS, since the GRUB bootloader seemed to be getting in the way.
