Microsoft introduces new browser project Spartan
The version of the web browser included in Windows 10 Build 10009 still calls the software "Project Spartan" because Microsoft is still debating the actual name. In Build 10009, the browser uses the new Edge rendering engine instead of Internet Explorer 11's Trident variant, which significantly improves performance.
Although the screenshots don't reveal everything about the new web browser, Microsoft has confirmed that it will support extensions like Google Chrome and Firefox. It will support inking for annotations, reading list features, and Cortana integration.
Below you can find some of the screenshots, but be sure to check out the source page for the full list of images.
