Samsung’s August software update – why it’s important
Samsung computers contain a file called "Disable_Windowsupdate.exe," which, while not a virus or malware, is a nightmare for Windows. A researcher and Microsoft MVP has reported that Samsung Windows PCs come pre-installed with a file that disables Windows updates and, according to the company, is designed to "improve your Windows configuration settings."
The bloatware was discovered by Patrick while investigating why Microsoft arbitrarily disabled Windows Update.
