You can use the registry to run scripts and apps every time you log in or just once. In this guide, I'll show you how to do that on Windows 11 and 10.

Windows Registry: Run and Run Once
In Windows 11 (and 10), you can use the Run and Run Once registry keys to run apps and scripts during startup when the user logs into the account. Of course, you can always run programs at login using the Startup folder, but the registry is another approach available to you.
The Run key allows you to run a program when the user logs into their Windows account, while the RunOnce key runs a program only once and then removes it from the system.
Although you can use the Run key every time a user logs in, the RunOnce key should only be used for one-time cases, such as completing app setup, mapping a network drive once, or changing a setting, and you should not use it continuously.
