Skype, which was recently acquired by Microsoft, has announced that in the latest beta version of the free software, users can now use Skype to connect with friends who use Facebook video calling.

How to connect Skype to Facebook 2024
This new feature was made possible thanks to Facebook's partnership with Skype when the social networking giant released its video chat feature in a web browser in July.
This new feature is included in beta version 5.7 for Windows and version 5.4 for Mac OSX. There is also a short video where Skype demonstrates this new feature and explains the simple steps to configure Skype + Facebook video chat.
If you're using the beta version of Skype, you'll also notice that in addition to the ability to chat with your friends using Facebook Video Chat, there are other improvements, such as smoother video playback and group screen sharing for Windows—Mac users already have this feature.
