The new Windows Snipping Tools add a shapes markup feature
On Windows 11, the Snipping Tool becomes a fully functional screenshot tool with additional shapes. Starting with version 11.2401.32.0, the app includes new tools that let you add rectangles, ovals, lines, and arrows to mark up screenshots.
When you take screenshots with the Snipping Tool, you can now open the Shapes menu in the toolbar and use the Outline tool to choose the color and thickness of the outline.
The Fill tool allows you to make the shape transparent or fill it with a specific color. (Normally you would use the Transparent option.)
