Microsoft is rolling out the new firmware updates for its top line of Surface devices, including Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, and Surface Pro 3. While Surface Pro 3 has been receiving updates for over a year, the October release is the first wave of updates for Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book.
The update includes a number of fixes for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book cameras, display stability, and storage drivers. For Surface Pro 3, the new update fixes the Surface Pro 4 Type Cover and supports the new Microsoft Surface Dock.
