There is no firmware update being released for either the Surface Pro 2 or the Surface Pro today, and that includes the original Surface RT tablet.
Surface Pro 3, the latest Intel-based tablet, is getting a new firmware update that further improves Wi-Fi connectivity and includes a few other fixes that Microsoft isn't talking about yet. However, the Surface Pro 3 firmware won't be available today, users will have to wait a little longer.
