Windows 10 21H2, November 2021 Update: Installation via Windows Update
UPDATED 6/14/2024: Microsoft has begun automatically rolling out Windows 10 22H2 to devices running version 21H2, as service for that version ends on June 13, 2023. Although feature updates are optional, when service for an older version nears end of life, the company is making the next supported version mandatory so that devices remain supported.
On the Windows Release Health website, the software giant explains that it is "working to keep you protected and productive. Windows Update will automatically initiate a feature update for Windows 10 personal devices and unmanaged business devices that have reached end of service or are ending in the next few months."
The company also notes that the last security update for the Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations editions of Windows 10 21H2 will roll out on June 13, and that after that day, devices running the older version "will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates that provide protection against the latest security threats."
