The Xbox One's official launch is next Friday, November 22, and Microsoft continues to offer videos demonstrating the gaming console's power and features. Previously, we saw the 12-minute video that showed the Xbox One's real performance in games, apps, and on TV. Then came the Vine video that demonstrated how easy you can redeem an Xbox Live Gold card code, and today a new 15-second Instagram video from Larry Hryb (Microsoft's Major Nelson) shows how quickly the Xbox One turns on after the voice command "Xbox: On."

Xbox One: This is how quickly we executed 50 voice commands
So how long does it take for the Xbox One to boot up? In Major Nelson's video, the gaming console turns on in under 13 seconds, and 15 seconds if we count the extra 2 seconds to log in and load the personalized dashboard. However, it's not entirely clear if the Xbox One was revived from standby mode or if it was a cold boot. Either way, I have to admit that it's really fast, and it's really impressive that you don't have to reach for the controller to turn the console on.

This Instagram video not only demonstrates one of the Xbox One's unique features, but also the power of Kinect 2 in recognizing voice commands and how it instantly recognizes a user.
