How to use Microsoft Copilot – Complete guide for beginners

Microsoft is releasing four more variants of Copilot tailored to specific tasks. Although you can ask the chatbot virtually anything in natural language, the company is providing different GPTs (Generative Pre-trained Transformers) for different use cases, including fitness, travel, cooking and photo editing.

A Copilot GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a specialized version (or Large Language Models (LLM)) of the Microsoft Copilot with different training, leveraging the capabilities of the GPT-4 developed by OpenAI. A GPT is designed to assist you with a specific topic. In this case, Microsoft introduces four GPTs for image generation, vacation planning, cooking, and fitness training. Unlike the general-purpose version of the chatbot AI, which can handle many tasks, these specialized GPTs focus on assisting only in their respective areas of expertise.

In the list of GPTs you will also find Copilot as it is actually a GPT as well. This can be a bit confusing so let me explain. The Microsoft Copilot is a GPT in form but the difference is that this chatbot has access to the entire dataset. (This approach usually leads to more errors.)
