Although Microsoft has already completed the programming of its operating system, the company will continue to provide updates to improve the performance and security of Windows. For example, on day one there are already three new updates for Windows 8.1 (x86/x64) that provide performance and reliability improvements to the operating system, as well as an update that addresses the Runtimeboker.exe crash that caused Windows 8.1.
