Windows 10 21H2, November 2021 Update: Installation via Windows Update
Although Windows 11 is the next version of the operating system, Windows 10 will still be available until 2025. Version 21H2 (November 2021 Update) will then be introduced for business devices, computers that do not meet the minimum requirements to install Windows 11, or for users who are not yet ready to move to 11.
According to the official announcement from Microsoft, version 21H2 is a small update that will be delivered as a cumulative update and includes "a nuanced set of features focused on productivity and security, prioritized to meet the needs of our customers based on feedback." Among these features will be a new enhancement to Windows Hello for Business that will enable the use of external supported cameras when the laptop already equipped with a built-in Windows Hello camera is docked or closed.
Windows 10 21H2 also allows non-administrator users to configure the display language and other languages. For Windows Autopilot, the update adds support for TPM attestation for 11th generation Intel processors.
